Babe Swings

"Babe Swings"

Babe Pallenburg was at the stadium the day the immortal Billie Jean King whipped rival Bobby Riggs and decided to take up the game herself after witnessing such brute female strength. Babe went from lobbing balls at family picnics to ordering expensive racquets from the Sears catalog and filling her closets with color coordinated tennis outfits and headbands. She hits a mean ball to this day and entertains her many friends with her stupendous recipe of Tennis Ice Cream Ball. Babe swings at 9" x 12" - not too big, not too small - and is painted with paint (acrylic!) on canvas board.
