Adorable Coconut Head Purse/Container!

I’m sure I acquired this at one of Suzette and Paulette’s Sunday School rummage sales. I always thought it was so cute when they fought over who got to wear it when they went out. It was jointly owned by the girls. Their parents brought it home from Hawaii after only finding one of them at the airport. Aren’t the girl’s facial features painted on the nut done nicely? The yarn braids have lime green ribbons and there’s a very lovely green rope handle too. The forehead lifts up to reveal the turquoise linen storage compartment inside and a piece of elastic hooks on button nose to keep purse shut. This cutie is 4-1/4″ across by 3-3/4″ high. She comes from the Philippines.
