"Big Haired Graduate"

Such a bonita senorita, proud to finally receive her diploma after all those years of night school and part time jobs teaching lute at a local mental hospital. Here’s Florence posing for the camera and thinking about what she will major in when she attends Junior College in the fall. Maybe she’ll be a doctor one day! Her mother was a Quality Control expert at a comb factory and Florence is every bit the perfectionist as mom. This charming genuine acrylic painting measures 9″ x 12″ – not too big, not too small – and would make a handsome set with my other painting, “Big Boned Graduate“. P.S. I spelled my name wrong on this one, so I guess it will be more valuable if I ever end up in a museum.
