"Has Anyone Seen My Date?"

Lucille was such a sweet young thing. I’ll never forget the last time I saw her sitting on a settee outside the men’s bathroom at the Quail and Cock banquet center, waiting for her date, Arnold Spitzler, to come out. He must have gone back to the buffet for quite a few helpings judging from how long he kept Lucille waiting. Anyway, she didn’t look too happy and I hope she has cheered up in the years that have passed since. This painting is a petite 8″ x 10″. It is painted with genuine acrylic paint on a canvas board.
