"The Seats On This Train Are So Wide!"
Billy loved seeing the country with his parents, my good friends Hoodie and Estelle. They hailed from Gary, Ind. and liked to escape the “soot cloud”, as they were so fond of calling their fair city, as often as they could. They visited Hoodie’s parents in Ohio, who owned a small motel on the side of the Interstate. Estelle said they saw so many cars passing by from the pool, they decided that taking the train to this fun spot was a well-needed and deserved break. Little Billy loved to put his strong legs up on the wide seats. This painting is also wide at 11″ x 14″ and the widely used medium is acrylic paint on canvas board.
