This is Sherleen with her constant companion, Little Ajax, at her hemline. Before he passed and made way for Pickles, Little Ajax was the love of Sherleen’s life. Sherleen often stuck candies and little snacks in her pockets and Little Ajax got in the habit of staying close to her feet in case a significant crumb or foodstuff should fall out. Sherleen was friends with my good friend Connie, and her dog King and Little Ajax were quite good friends as well.
