"The Southside Bongo Club"

I caught these fellows when they opened for Leonard, The Bongo Machine at the Southside Seaside Sunny Sunday Crab ‘N Lobster Fest a few years back. They each had a different specialty and sometimes would combine their interests in Calypso, Italian opera and Appalachian mining songs into soulful jams that kept diners smacking their lips in rhythm for hours. The Bongo Club never got a recording deal but I hum their tunes to this day.
