"The Swinger"
Golf is a very popular sport now but it used to be that only the most progressive of sports thinkers took it seriously as a recreational athletic endeavor. Kenneth, Ralph and Mario went to the local green every weekend I can remember and shot balls into sand traps, thickets and passing cars as a way of releasing tension built up from running their thriving shoe inserts business. They are all wearing ‘Comfy Toe’ products inside the shoes pictured here and they swore their feet never got tired no matter how far they had to walk to retrieve a ball. This artwork measures 14″ x 18″ – stadium sized! – and is comprised of acrylic paint on canvas board.
