"This Song Is Really So Sad"

This singer looked like she ate an especially large meal before coming on stage at the annual Pleasant Water Cotillion, but whatever she ate sure made her sound great! She sang lovely standards and graced us with an especially tempting disco version of ‘Peg O My Heart’. We chatted briefly at the salad bar during on of her breaks and she was charming! I forget her name but she cut quite a figure in the spotlight and so I have painted her here. She hangs at 9″ x 12″ and is made with real acrylic paint on canvas board.
